International Sales and Business Development Manager

 I am searching for an ambitious, driven yet professional Sales and Business Development Manager with Fresh Produce experience to join one of Italy’s leading grape growers. This organisation is steeped in history with a great reputation in the trade and supply major retailers and wholesalers throughout the EU.

 What Will I Be Doing?

You will be responsible for driving profit growth across the B2B sector, utilising and strengthening existing trade contacts whilst cultivating new business. This role will involve liaison with production, logistics, NPD and customer service in order to provide the quality that this client’s customers have come to expect from an exporter and grower of this stature.

 What Experience Do I Need to Succeed?

You will already be working within a B2B sales/commercial role and have experience of selling fresh produce into the EU’s leading Retail and non-retail companies. It would be unlikely that you would have less than 5 years fresh produce trading experience. European languages are essential. Reporting in to the Managing Director, the role will be involved in the day to day contact and liaison with existing customers as well as producing and implementing a strategy to open new markets. Our client is looking for someone who is driven, ambitious with strong sales skills. As you will be aware this is a fast moving product area, you will be integral to both short and long term negotiations and planning.

Where?

The role will be based in Bari, S Italy.

How Much?

The salary will be negotiable depending on experience but likely to be up to €50k plus Bonus.
