A large Fresh Produce business are keen to speak with Graduates, or enthusiastic and ambitious people who are looking to develop and strengthen their career within the Fresh Produce or Food business. They are keen to speak with people who are looking to get in a Sales , Account Manager, Trading or Commercial role…. You would ideally have some exposure to a Sales team with the Fresh Produce Industry, therefore would understand the environment and what the wonderful world of Fruit involves!

This is a fantastic opportunity for you if you are motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and passionate about produce!

You will also ideally have a degree in horticulture/agriculture or a related subject as well as some practical experience.

A full UK driving licence and some tractor driving experience is essential.

Fresh Produce Sales Manager

FMK Consulting are looking for a Trading / Sales Manager with a background in the Fresh Produce Industry. They are a internationally successful Produce trading company that are keen to expand their existing trading and sales team with a confident, ambitious and talented Sales Manager’s / Commercial Managers/ Procurement professionals and so on…

Working closely with suppliers around the world, our client supplies UK businesses with imported fresh produce, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining existing client relationships within the Sales & Marketing department, whilst identifying and targeting new business opportunities particularly in the non-retail sector.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a high calibre sales / commercial or trading professional, with a portfolio of customers in Wholesale Markets, Food Service, Processors, Category Managers. It is unlikely that you would have less than two years experience within the Fresh Produce industry and used to growing business within healthy and stable relationships. A combination of a proactive trading mentality and a strategic thinker would be essential.

We are looking for the following candidate:-
You would be currently working in a Commercial or Sales position within a Fresh Produce operation
Must have strong knowledge of the Fresh Produce Industry
Must have excellent communication skills
Ideally you would have some experience in purchasing
Excellent IT Skills
