This is such a fantastic company that has seen exponential growth over this last crazy year! They are a well established Industry leader and due to their continued growth they are looking for a energetic, experienced and personable Account Manager to join their offices in Hampshire.

The role will require some days in the office, but working from home is also a option!

The successful Account Manager would have experience working with Supermarkets in the UK, ideally with perishable items. They would understand how to develop relationships with customers and would be happy to work apart of a strong team!

Using established lean manufacturing principles and innovative growing technology they are the UK’s largest producer of indoor ornamental pot plants and supply over 8 million plants to major retailers!

About the Role:

This is a great opportunity to join their established sales team and develop existing key relationships with one or more of their customers. You will work closely with our internal customer cluster teams to effectively create cost and delver product for our customers.

The ideal candidate excels at managing their sales funnel from identifying to closing prospects. You will also be responsible for determining long-term sales strategy and act as the primary contact for clients, customer adoption, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Full P&L Responsibility for one or more customer’s range
  • Responsible for maintaining effective communication with all the relevant stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Translate and bring to life a wide breath of data (Customer/Consumer/Market) for our client to help create success.
  • Forecast demand and margin accurately to enable the business to function effectively.
  • Be able to prioritise opportunities and challenges effectively.
  • Understand client goals and objectives
  • Build professional relationships
  • Become a product expert.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years National Account Manager experience.
  • Horticulture knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Microsoft Excel Intermediate Level.
  • Presentation Skills
  • Entrepreneur spirit

Working Hours – Mon to Fri 7.30am to 4.30pm, with flexibility to cover seasonal peaks in workload and off-site meetings. Potential to work from home 1 or 2 days per week.
