We are currently working with a very highly regarded Fresh Produce grower and importer who, as a result of growth, are looking to appoint a energetic, ambitious and confident Account Manager to their team in Kent.
About The Role:-
- You will be working closely with the Commercial Managers and providing a key point of contact to one of their major retail accounts.
- Alongside the category team you will need to keep a close eye on the rest of the retail market to understand developments as they happen and ensure you can react accordingly.
- You will need to ensure you maintain good and effective communication with your customers at all times.
The Ideal Candidate:-
Our client is happy to consider candidates from the Food or similar Industry if you can demonstrate your energy and drive that you can bring to this role!
- You will bring at least 2 years of relevant experience to this role, ideally working with Retailers in a Fresh Produce focussed category.
- Experience within the fresh, produce, chilled or meat categories would be advantageous
- Strong commercial acumen with successful in key negotiations with new clients and strategically developing existing key accounts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent numeric and analytical skill is a must
- A proven track record of delivering results will clearly stand you in good stead, but they are open to bringing on people with the right foundations and the potential to develop.
- A passion for what you do is crucial
