Fresh Produce Sales

We are seeking an experienced Fresh Produce Sales person to join a growing company in the Fruit and Salad wholesale sector. This role focuses on driving UK sales growth, acquiring new clients, new product areas and managing profitable trading operations. Due to retirement the Team is modest in size with a great reputation and significant sales volume. The new Sales person will be integral to determining growth and new directions for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify and secure new wholesale clients (distributors, catering businesses, foodservice retailers)

· Sell fresh produce at competitive margins

· Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms

· Manage key client relationships and ensure excellent service

· Monitor market trends and align supply with demand

· Coordinate with logistics and support inventory management

· Ensure accuracy in documentation with a good attention to detail.

Requirements:

· Proven experience in the fruits and vegetables wholesale industry

· Strong sales, negotiation, and account management skills

· Knowledge of wholesale distribution and trading processes

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment

· Import/export knowledge is advantageous
