Management Development Trainee – “PICK ME”

The Opportunity:
Our client is the UK’s leading berry and stone fruit production and marketing group. Passion, excellence and expertise in producing the most succulent soft fruit has underpinned their business since it was founded over 40 years ago. We are passionate about delivering the freshest and highest quality fruit to the consumer.

They are offering an exciting two-year management development programme known as PICK ME. This is an opportunity to join the market leader in one of the
fastest growing industries.

Who is PICK ME for?

PICK ME is a management development programme designed to grow the talent of future leaders and managers. The programme is open to anyone wishing to enter or progress their careers in the fresh produce industry in a management role. We welcome applications from both recent graduates and early career professionals without a degree.

The Role:
Management Development trainees will be placed in four different six-month secondments within this company to gain a broad experience of the company and the fresh produce industry.
Secondments are combined with formal training, coaching and mentoring.

  •  Ability to identify needs and issues and recommended suitable and pragmatic courses to action and solutions, adopting a risk aware approach.
  • Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to handle a number of tasks at once and meeting deadlines as required
  • Very good organisational skills
  • Good IT skills including experience of Word, Excel, Outlook
