Here is an opportunity to join an established and expanding Import and sales company based in the heart of one of London’s Fruit and Vegetable Wholesale Markets – Stratford Market (New Spitalfields).

Hundreds and thousands of tonnes of Fresh Produce are traded in this market every year, feeding Retailers, Food processors, Home box companies, Hotels, Restaurants , Caterers… the list goes on!

A well established Importer / Trading company is looking to recruit a Sales person to join their busy team.

This is what they would like to see in a candidate :

• Experience selling Fresh Produce in a Wholesale or similar environment (min 1 or 2 years)
• Product knowledge of Fruit and Salads (on job training provided)
• A good head for figures
• Be able to build rapport with your customers and fulfil their requirements.
• Strong sales ability.
• Supplier / Grower contacts (useful not essential)
• Good communicator
• Reliable, honest, friendly and trustworthy.
• Willing to go the ‘extra mile’ for your customers.

Hours: We are looking for the sales manager to work night shifts in the new Spitalfields market starting from 22:30-7:00am.
