Quality Control Planner
A leading Fresh Produce company are looking for a Planner to join their team….This is a great chance to join a well known and highly respected player in the Fruit Industry
The Planner would ideally have a strong background in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
Key Responsibilities
- Rotation / Allocation and job instructions including exceptional jobs, based on RAG status
- Specs including label sheets, labelling and packaging approval
- Tracking exceptional costs
- Support third party packers on the execution of the jobs instructed and yield targets set
- Trigger claims on arrival / stock review / on the line
- Trigger temperature abuse protocol
- Quality management (RAG status) on arrival including reporting to suppliers / source offices
- Quality management during residency cycle including hit lists to align customers’ and commercial expectations.
- Stock reviews
- Support third party packers on customer and audit visits
- Stock and job queries
- Sign off PAC
- Analyse quality reports / information / insight from suppliers, source offices and customers including customer depots to drive continuous improvement
