A leading international Fresh Produce company are looking for a experienced QC to join their Quality & Technical team. This will be a 12 month maternity cover , with a possibility of a permanent role for a successful QC.

The position of Quality Controller / QC will be Warehouse or Packhouse based, with a focus on quality control inspections of product on intake, online or positive release, to ensure product meets standard to complete customer orders, monitoring, inspecting and reporting on the quality of product.

You will be working as a part of a Quality Assurance / Control team!

Key responsibilities include; Product inspection, Report any issues or defects in a timely manner , Maintain a high level of Hygiene and Health & Safety Ensure all product packaging meets expected standards.

The Successful candidate would have the following experience:

• Experience in a Quality Control / Quality Assurance role (2-3 Years ideally)
• Fruit, Fresh Produce or Food Industry knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail

QC working hours 7.30 to 15.30 (TBC). 5 days a week , occasional weekend work, with days off in Lieu.
