A leading Fresh Produce company are looking for a Sales and Procurement Executive / Junior Trader to join their team!

Reporting To: Senior Commercial Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

•  Manage and develop Wholesale and Food service accounts.
• Develop and deliver a sales plan to capitalise on seasonal opportunities (Fruit and Veg lines).
• Play a key role in new product development for non-retail and foodservice customers.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Support in delivering yearly budgeted numbers and business objectives.

· Proactively manage the cross-functional relationship between various stake holders.

· Price Negotiations with suppliers and customers.

· Admin management.

· Continuously analyse suppliers’ performance and initiate improvement process.

· Analyse and fulfil customer requirements & new opportunities.

We are looking for someone with the following experience / skills:

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Confident presenter, with excellent attention to detail.

· Agile and dynamic, with the ability to work under pressure and successfully prioritise.

· Positive and self-motivated mindset, able to work independently.

EXPERIENCE:

· A minimum of two years relevant experience (Wholesale / Foodservice).

· Knowledge of Non-Retail sector (Wholesalers, Category Managers, Food Service, Food processors, Box Companies etc.)

· A combination of sales and buying background in Salad, Fruits or Vegetable categories.

· Written and spoken fluency in English (other EU languages advantageous).

Location: Stevenage, Hybrid role

Salary: £35k to £45k

Working hours: 06:00am to 03:00pm
