They are looking for a Procurement and Sales Manager to join their Wholesale Trading team. You will have an excellent understanding of how the wholesale markets work and will help to drive performance across the team, and existing external stakeholders, whilst also introducing new customers and suppliers. You will be involved in helping to manage all aspects of the relationships we have developed with our existing wholesale customers, ensuring they receive the best possible service and helping us to maximise our sales opportunities. With your knowledge and understanding of how the wholesale markets work, together with your experience of dealing with fresh produce and your industry contacts, you will develop new customer and supplier opportunities to help grow and strengthen our wholesale business. We are looking for somebody with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a wholesale trader and with a background of working with fresh produce, particularly fruit.

You will have developed strong supplier and customer relationships that you can bring with you to this role, together with evidence of a financially successful trading record.

You will be proficient in supply chain processes, with a good understanding of world geography and experience of managing logistical issues in terms of moving products globally.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, be accustomed to working to tight timescales and feel comfortable managing a number of different tasks simultaneously. You’ll be IT literate, especially with MS Word and Excel and ideally have experience of using an ERP system.

You must be a confident communicator, with a strong outgoing personality and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, assisting with queries and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

A leading player in the Fresh Produce Industry are looking to recruit an ambitious and hands-on Quality Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, the Quality Manager’s role will be instrumental in leading and developing our QC function. This role spans multiple sites throughout the UK, so regular travel is essential, including overnight stays. You’ll work closely with teams across the business to ensure ESG strategy is embedded and consistently applied.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the ISO Environmental Management System, including preparation for and delivery of internal and external audits.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for energy, carbon, waste, water, and environmental compliance, identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.

• Engage confidently at all levels of the organisation, from senior leadership to operational teams to integrate ESG principles into everyday practice.

• Develop clear, compelling sustainability communications and reports for internal and external audiences, including the Modern Slavery Statement.

• Track and interpret changes in environmental legislation to ensure ongoing compliance and future readiness.

• Travel to company sites and external partners to support ESG initiatives and collaboration.

About You

• Demonstrated experience managing ISO systems and leading audits.

• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

• Solid technical knowledge of environmental and energy topics, paired with a strategic, solutions-focused mindset.

• Excellent written skills for reporting, policies, and external disclosures.

• Self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable with regular travel in support of ESG objectives.
