Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to effectively procure our clients product portfolio; vegetables and exotics. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain profitable relationships with suppliers, seek new supply opportunities, manage subordinate procurement colleagues, and work closely with commercial teams to increase market share and profitability. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain profitable relationships with existing suppliers.
    • Actively seek and develop new supply opportunities to enhance the product portfolio.
    • Build strong, long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure outstanding service levels and quality management.
  2. Team Management:
    • Actively manage the performance of direct reports in the procurement team, providing guidance and support.

  3. Strategic and Tactical Procurement:
    • Develop and implement strategic and tactical procurement plans.

    • Ensure the highest quality standards are met for all procured products.
    • Maintain outstanding service levels to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  9. Market Share Growth:
    • Collaborate with Commercial Managers to increase the company's market share and explore added value possibilities.
